Goldman Sachs disclosed a $418.65 million stake in U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in its latest 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
As of June 30, the firm holds nearly 7 million shares in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, making it the third-largest shareholder in the fund.
In addition to BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, Goldman Sachs holds significant shares in other Bitcoin ETFs, including Fidelity’s FBTC, Grayscale’s converted Bitcoin fund, and Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF.
The firm’s total Bitcoin ETF holdings include shares in WisdomTree, ARK 21Shares, and Bitwise.
A 13F filing provides a quarterly report on institutional investment managers’ holdings of equity securities and options but does not disclose short positions.
