Heirs Insurance Group (HIG) has announced the appointment of Ibrahim Puri and Sonny Iroche as independent non-executive directors for its non-life insurance business, Heirs General.
Ibrahim Puri, with over 30 years of experience in financial services, was previously Group Executive Director at the United Bank for Africa.
Sonny Iroche brings over four decades of expertise in finance and investment promotion, having held leadership roles at various organizations.
Tony O. Elumelu, Chairman of Heirs Holdings, praised the appointments, noting that Puri and Iroche’s leadership will help Heirs Insurance Group achieve its goal of becoming Nigeria’s leading and most innovative insurance provider.
The company, part of Heirs Holdings, is focused on expanding its digital insurance offerings and promoting financial inclusion across Nigeria.
