Starting August 9, 2024, Overland Airways will begin daily direct flights between Lagos and Abuja.
The airline will operate over 60 flights a week to meet rising demand and address industry capacity issues exacerbated by the grounding of Arik Air’s fleet.
The new service will use Overland’s latest Embraer E-175 jets, featuring Premium and Economy cabins for enhanced passenger comfort.
This expansion aims to provide a seamless travel experience for passengers.
Mrs. Aduke Atiba, Executive Director of Overland Airways, noted that this new route is part of their commitment to improving air travel between Lagos and Abuja.
The airline, which recently received its second Embraer E-175 aircraft, plans to offer more destinations in Nigeria and West Africa in the future.
