Sterling Bank Limited has teamed up with the Lagos State Government through the Lagos State Health Management Agency to introduce the Ilera Eko healthcare booths.
Launched by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, these booths aim to provide essential medical care, telemedicine services, and facilitate enrollment in the LASHMA insurance scheme.
Additionally, they serve as agency banks, allowing residents to perform daily transactions and access essential banking services.
Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the initiative marks a significant stride towards making healthcare accessible and affordable for all Lagosians.
Sterling Bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Abubakar Suleiman, represented by Adewale Adebowale, the Head of Government Fulfilment, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to its HEART strategy.
This strategy focuses on investments in health, education, agriculture, renewable energy, and transportation sectors nationwide.
The Ilera Eko booths exemplify this commitment by integrating health and financial services to uplift communities and improve the quality of life in Lagos.
