Zenith Bank Wins Best Commercial Bank and Best Corporate Governance Awards for 2024
Zenith Bank Plc has been named the Best Commercial Bank in Nigeria for the fourth consecutive year in the World Finance Banking Awards 2024. Additionally, the bank won the Best Corporate Governance award in Nigeria for the third year running in the World Finance Corporate Governance Awards 2024.
These accolades, published in the Summer 2024 issue of World Finance Magazine, recognize the bank’s strong financial performance, superior customer service, sustainability initiatives, and corporate governance practices.
Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, the Group Managing Director/CEO of Zenith Bank, celebrated the dual honors, highlighting the bank’s commitment to excellence and global best practices. She credited the awards to the dedication of the bank’s staff, the loyalty of its customers, and the support of its shareholders.
Dr. Umeoji also dedicated the awards to the bank’s Founder and Chairman, Dr. Jim Ovia, for his visionary leadership, and expressed gratitude to the board, staff, and customers for their continued support.
