Wema Bank has launched CoopHub, a digital solution designed to empower cooperative societies, during the International Day of Cooperatives.
The event, themed “Cooperatives: Building a Better Future For All,” was held in collaboration with the Lagos State Government and gathered key stakeholders to discuss challenges faced by cooperatives in Nigeria.
CoopHub aims to enhance the efficiency and productivity of cooperative societies by providing resources and support for improved operations.
It addresses issues such as manual recordkeeping, limited access to financing, and security concerns, offering features like secure transactions, transparent records, and real-time reporting, all accessible via mobile devices.
Ayodele Olojede, Wema Bank’s Divisional Head of Retail and SME, emphasized the bank’s commitment to advancing Nigeria’s cooperative industry through innovative solutions like CoopHub.
