The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) has revealed the 26 start-ups advancing to the accelerator stage of the NSIA Prize for Innovation (NPI 2.0).

Initially, 100 start-ups were selected from over 7000 early-stage businesses after rigorous evaluation. The 26 chosen start-ups, including Magic Carpet, Jump n Pass, and Trashcoin, will participate in a physical bootcamp featuring interactive training sessions, networking opportunities, and tailored workshops.

The week-long bootcamp will conclude with a mini demo day, where start-ups will pitch their solutions to a panel of judges. Successful participants will advance to the Demo Day, competing for a combined prize value of $220,000 and an all-expense-paid five-week training at Draper University, Silicon Valley, USA.

Aminu Umar-Sadiq, the managing director and CEO of NSIA, emphasized the Authority’s commitment to using the NSIA Prize for Innovation to drive socio-economic development by fostering the technology ecosystem, encouraging youth entrepreneurship, and promoting innovative solutions to everyday challenges.
