Nigeria LNG Limited has announced that its $4.3 billion Train-7 project is now 67% complete. The project has achieved 45 million man-hours without any Lost Time Injury (LTI) and has created jobs for over 9,000 Nigerians.
The company highlighted the project’s significance in Nigeria’s revenue diversification and energy transition. It aims to monetize Nigeria’s vast gas resources, which are estimated at over 200 trillion cubic feet (tcf).
During a session with the Senate and House of Representatives’ Joint Committee on Gas, NLNG officials provided necessary clarifications. NLNG called on all stakeholders to support the project to ensure its successful completion and attract more transformational projects to Nigeria.
