Wemabod Limited has announced a leadership transition with the appointment of Bashir Oladunni as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective from December 19, 2024. Oladunni succeeds Oluyemi Ejidiran, who retired after serving in the position for six years.
In a statement released to The PUNCH, Wemabod Limited highlighted that this transition marks a significant milestone for the company as it aims to further strengthen its position in the real estate industry.
“Bashir Oladunni, formerly the Controller of Estates at Wemabod Limited, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has managed over N34 million in real estate assets and holds academic qualifications including an HND in Estate Management, an MSc in Housing Development and Management, and an M.Tech in Estate Management,” the statement noted.
Efuntayo Ibukun, Chairman of the Board at Wemabod Limited, expressed confidence in the smooth transition of leadership, acknowledging Oluyemi Ejidiran’s pivotal role in the company’s growth and transformation. Ibukun stated, “Mr. Ejidiran has played a pivotal role in Wemabod’s transformation into a world-class conglomerate. We are thrilled about the future under Mr. Oladunni’s capable leadership.”
Reflecting on his tenure, Oluyemi Ejidiran expressed gratitude to the company’s shareholders and the board for their support during his tenure.
