UBA appoints Emmanuel Nnorom as non-executive director

The United Bank for Africa (UBA) has appointed Emmanuel Nnorom as a new non-executive director to its board. Nnorom’s appointment, effective April 30, 2024, and approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria on May 13, 2024, strengthens UBA’s commitment to strong governance.

Chairman Tony Elumelu praises Nnorom’s extensive experience in financial services and audit, exceeding 40 years. Nnorom’s background includes working in key sectors of the Nigerian economy and serving on the boards of listed companies.

His expertise and pan-African perspective are seen as valuable complements to the existing UBA board.
