Yesterday, the $20 billion Dangote Petroleum Refinery announced further reductions in the prices of diesel and aviation fuel to N940 and N980 per litre, respectively. The new price of N940 applies to customers purchasing five million litres and above, while N970 is for those buying one million litres and above.

Mr. Anthony Chiejina, the Head of Communication, emphasized that the price adjustments aim to alleviate the economic challenges faced by Nigerians. The refinery has partnered with MRS Oil and Gas stations to ensure that consumers can access affordable fuel across all their stations nationwide, with diesel available for as low as N1,050 per litre and aviation fuel at N980 per litre in major airports.

Chiejina highlighted the Dangote Group’s commitment to improving the welfare of Nigerians, stating that the partnership with MRS and other major oil marketers aims to prevent retail buyers from purchasing fuel at exorbitant prices.
