Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has provided assurance that the country is set to generate 6,000 megawatts (MW) of electricity within the next six months.
Speaking on Channel Television’s Politics Today, Adelabu highlighted that the nation presently generates and transmits over 4,000MW, with distribution issues being the primary challenge.
Adelabu emphasized that the administration led by President Bola Tinubu is committed to addressing the issues plaguing the power sector. He mentioned that the government has identified the challenges and proposed solutions, seeking support from experts and stakeholders to navigate through them effectively.
