Mr. Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has announced that United Arab Emirates (UAE) airlines might restart flight operations to Nigeria before June. He revealed this during an interview on the Morning Show program on Arise TV, mentioning that he received a letter from Emirates Airline confirming the resolution of all issues.

Keyamo further explained that the federal government is actively addressing legal concerns that have hindered Nigerian airlines from competing globally.

One immediate step involves collaborating with the Attorney General of the Federation and the Chief Justice of Nigeria to advise judges to stop granting injunctions to detain aircraft on dry lease in Nigeria. This move aims to create a more conducive environment for Nigerian airlines to operate effectively.
