Xiaomi unveils “SU7” electric car

Xiaomi’s CEO recently revealed plans for the company’s first electric vehicle, the SU7, aiming to make it the most stylish, user-friendly, and intelligent car priced below 500,000 yuan.

Orders for the SU7 will open this week, following the official price range announcement on Thursday.

Since its unveiling in December, anticipation for the SU7 has been steadily growing, with Xiaomi aspiring to rank among the top five automakers globally. CEO Lei Jun emphasized the vehicle’s advanced technology, promising acceleration surpassing Tesla and Porsche’s electric cars.To further stoke excitement, Xiaomi has begun showcasing the SU7 in its stores across China, drawing crowds of potential buyers and car enthusiasts eager to catch a glimpse of the “ocean blue” version.
