BOI launches palliative food programme, support Nigerians

Launched by the Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, the Bank of Industry (BoI) has initiated a palliative food programme aimed at alleviating the economic hardships faced by Nigerians.

Dr. Uzoka-Anite emphasized the importance of the palliative programme in addressing food insecurity issues prevalent in the country. She stated that the Federal Government would collaborate with stakeholders in the food value chain to mitigate the impact of the economy.

Dr. Olasupo Olusi, the Managing Director of BoI, affirmed the institution’s dedication to working closely with the Federal Government to distribute the palliative to targeted beneficiaries nationwide, starting with Lagos and Abuja.
