The International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), has announced plans to construct nine healthcare facilities in Adamawa state. This initiative, shared via IOM’s official platform, aims to improve service delivery in rural communities.

Through a partnership agreement, IOM and JICA will support the Adamawa State Government and local authorities in providing adequate healthcare services to both displaced and host communities. The program will involve building and rehabilitating nine healthcare facilities and providing training to numerous healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery.

This initiative aligns with IOM Nigeria’s Country Strategy for 2023-2027, focusing on promoting effective protection and assistance to affected potential and vulnerable populations.
