A sizable US business delegation, including Meta, Boeing, and wind energy firm GE Vernova, is currently visiting Vietnam, underscoring sustained corporate interest in the Southeast Asian nation following Washington’s upgraded ties last year. Organized by the US-ASEAN Business Council, the delegation comprises about 50 companies, similar in size to last year’s visit to Vietnam.

In addition to Meta, Boeing, and GE Vernova, conglomerate Koch Industries, safety standards firm UL Solutions, insurance group Chubb, gaming company Roblox, weather forecasts provider ATMO, and energy firm AES are participating in the mission. The delegation will engage in meetings with local authorities from Tuesday to Thursday to explore business opportunities and strengthen partnerships.

Furthermore, a smaller delegation of security firms plans to discuss potential collaborations with representatives from Vietnam’s ministries of defense and police on Monday. This visit highlights the importance of fostering economic and security cooperation between the United States and Vietnam, contributing to bilateral relations and regional stability.
