Unity Bank Plc has collaborated with the tech platform, SkillPaddy, to launch the ‘Count Her In’ tech programme aimed at training 1,000 female software engineers. This initiative is designed to empower female participants with essential software engineering skills.
The training program seeks to address talent supply gaps in the tech industry while offering individuals the opportunity to achieve their training objectives and kickstart careers in technology.
Mrs Tomi Somefun, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Unity Bank Plc, emphasized that empowering young women aligns with the theme of International Women’s Day 2024, #InspireInclusion. She reiterated the bank’s dedication to promoting inclusion and diversity in the workforce.
