Alex Okosi, the Managing Director of Google Africa, was awarded the Iconic Pioneer Award at the 2023 Silverbird Man of The Year Awards held in Lagos.
Okosi was lauded for his significant achievements in transforming the entertainment and media industry on the continent through groundbreaking initiatives and programs that have supported talents, businesses, and economies. Ben Murray-Bruce, the founder of Silverbird Group, praised Okosi for his ability to turn simple ideas into great achievements and emphasized the importance of dreaming big. He commended Okosi’s impact on the continent over the years, leading to the well-deserved Iconic Pioneer Award.
