Residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) reportedly looted a warehouse belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) due to prevailing economic hardship in the country.
The warehouse, located in the Phase 3 Region of Abuja, was targeted by individuals seeking essential food items. A viral video shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) captured scenes of people breaking into the warehouse and looting various food items.
Confirming the incident, Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the FCT command, acknowledged the warehouse looting. She assured that the situation was brought under control.
