Leatherback, a financial services technology company, is set to expand internationally with offices in the United Kingdom (UK), Nigeria, Ethiopia, Canada, India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

The company’s CEO, Toyeeb Ibrahim Ibitade, emphasized the significance of this target, especially following the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) dismissal of all allegations of fraud and misconduct against Leatherback. By fully cooperating with the EFCC and providing transparent insights into its operations, Leatherback unequivocally demonstrated its innocence, prompting the EFCC to retract all allegations and communications related to the matter from its website and social media platforms.

Leatherback supported the EFCC’s investigation by furnishing over 5,000 printed documents and filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in the UK and Nigeria. In response to the development, Ibitade expressed relief at the conclusion of the episode and emphasized Leatherback’s complete exoneration from any wrongdoing. With the issue resolved, Leatherback is now poised to advance its mission of providing a single access point for individuals and businesses to achieve true global connectivity.
