UK Officials Seek Investment Opportunities in Nigeria

The UK Minister for Business and Trade, Kemi Badenoch, alongside the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Nigeria, Helen Grant, is embarking on a mission to Nigeria aimed at fostering investment opportunities and bilateral relations.

The visit will include engagements with British and Nigerian business leaders, investors, and government officials to explore potential investments and collaborations across various sectors.

According to a statement from the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office/ British Deputy High Commission in Lagos, Badenoch’s itinerary includes meetings with the Federal Government, state governors, and key stakeholders. Discussions will cover a range of topics, from trade activities to infrastructure and energy projects, with the potential to generate significant employment opportunities in Nigeria.

During her visit, Badenoch also toured Charterhouse School, the first British independent school in West Africa, expressing optimism about its potential to deliver world-class education.
