Seven-Up Bottling Company, in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and Zenith Bank, has organized a bootcamp aimed at empowering approximately 80 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria.
The two-day workshop, themed ‘Dream Big, Scale Bigger’, provided CEOs of emerging SMEs with insights into scaling their businesses within the Nigerian ecosystem.
Mr. Ziad Maalouf, the Managing Director of Seven-Up Bottling Company, highlighted the contributions of SMEs to Nigeria’s GDP. He applauded the entrepreneurial spirit of Nigerians and underscored the bootcamp’s purpose: to equip more entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools necessary to expand their businesses.
The bootcamp emphasized the importance of sustainable innovation and investment in SME growth, as emphasized by Oluyomi Banjo, the National Director of UNIDO. Banjo commended Seven-Up Bottling Company for organizing the workshop and emphasized Nigeria’s need to foster an environment conducive to sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship.
