Nigeria showcased its prominence at the third edition of Saudi Arabia’s Future Minerals Forum (FMF).
The conference, attended by over 80 nations, focuses on creating resilient and responsible mineral value chains in Africa, Western, and Central Asia, establishing itself as a premier platform for countries rich in solid minerals and those seeking to invest in their value chains.
Representing Nigeria’s Solid Minerals sector, Dr. Alake led a delegation to the minerals conference held in Riyadh from January 9th to 11th, 2024. The schedule included crucial discussions with the Saudi Arabian Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar AlKhorayef. During these meetings, Dr. Alake related President Tinubu’s commitment to solid minerals development, positioning Nigeria as a key player in the global minerals landscape.
This participation reinforces Nigeria’s dedication to fostering international collaboration and investment in its mineral resources.
