Nigerdock, the promoters of Snake Island Integrated Free Zone, have highlighted that their partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) aims to boost the adoption of green energy and attract sustainable foreign direct investments into Nigeria.
Maher Jarmakani, the CEO of Nigerdock, announced that a UNIDO delegation, consisting of representatives from 23 companies, visited the company’s Lagos office to explore collaborations in renewable energy, green technologies, and agribusiness investments.
Michael Schmidt, Deputy Head of Office at UNIDO ITPO Germany, expressed UNIDO’s dedication to industrial park development in developing countries and economies in transition. He emphasized the potential for valuable collaboration between UNIDO’s objectives and Nigerdock’s infrastructure goals, anticipating further engagement on these initiatives.
