To enhance the commencement of Dangote Petroleum Refinery and petrochemicals, NNPC supplied one million barrels of crude to the refinery.
According to the information gathered from Dangote Refinery, “the fresh one million barrels of crude was the fourth consignment to be delivered to the Dangote facility out of the six million barrels of crude being expected by the world’s largest single-train refinery.”More barrels of crude are expected to be delivered towards the end of January, 2024.
The president of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote expressed his optimism towards the kick-start of the refinery. To him this project will not only go a long way in enhancing the availability of petroleum and other related products, it is a foundation for the development of other huge capital projects in the country.
