Nigeria’s New Minister of Power Outlines Priorities to Address Power Sector Challenges

Nigeria’s newly appointed Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has taken office with a focus on addressing the country’s longstanding power sector issues. Adelabu highlighted key priorities for his tenure, which include implementing the 2023 Electricity Act, achieving universal metering for consumers, and leveraging Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to solve Nigeria’s power challenges.
