Despite the limited access to petroleum products that Nigerians had in the first quarter of 2023 (Q1’23), With a total of 827,080 metric tons of fuel imported during the period, petroleum products lead the list of imports.
Bulk wheat was ranked second on the chart with 433,774 metric tons, according to the daily Shipping Position document from the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA.
In the first quarter of the year, 66,560 metric tons of fish were imported in addition to the 88,750 metric tons of salt that were reported.
