Since the start of the intervention, the Central Bank of Nigeria has distributed N173.31 billion to recipients under its 100-for-100 Policy on Production and Productivity.
According to the bank, the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, made the announcement in Abuja following the Monetary Policy Committee meeting. “Under the 100 for 100 Policy on Production and Productivity, the Bank disbursed N13.81 billion to three manufacturing projects,” he said.
“This brings the total disbursement under the facility to N173.31 billion, which has been distributed to 81 projects, including 45 manufacturing, 23 agriculture, five healthcare, and eight services sector projects, with an estimated 23,343 direct jobs created.”
According to the instructions for the initiative’s operation, the CBN set the maximum loan amount that a participant could receive at N5bn.
