The acquisition of a South African tech company is being driven by Infinite Partners.
A group of private equity investors led by independent private equity fund manager Infinite Partners have agreed to buy e4, a prominent fintech expert in South Africa.
The investment will help e4 broaden its SaaS portfolio, grow internationally, and strengthen its B-BBEE credentials.
e4’s extremely protective and resilient nature is also mentioned, and the depth and expertise of its management team are seen as major strengths for fostering innovation and building on already-existing client relationships.
Grant Phillips, CEO of e4 Group, claims that the investment fits in well with e4’s overarching goal. The consortium’s broad portfolio mix and investor profile, according to Phillips, give an intriguing potential to find synergies, pursue closer strategic alliances, and collaborate more successfully inside the equity pool.
