The Ajaokuta-Abuja-Kano-Kaduna (AKK) gas pipeline and the OB3 gas interconnector will accommodate five billion standard cubic feet of domestic gas usage per day, according to the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (NNPC Ltd.).
NNPC Ltd.’s Group Chief Executive, Malam Mele Kyari, announced this on Monday in Abuja at the start of the sixth Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES 2023).
Kyari stated that the business was spending a lot of money on essential infrastructure and that it was also investing in five gigawatts of power generation capacity by building new power plant projects around the nation and along the AKK pipeline corridor to supplement the ones already in place.
