Despite the economic difficulties that characterized the 2022 financial quarter, Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc said it will pay N18.22bn in dividends to shareholders for the year ended December 31, 2022. The dividend payment per share owned by shareholders would be N1.50 kobo.
The company reported a profit before tax of N82 billion and a turnover of N403 billion, a 46% increase over the N276 billion achieved during the same time in 2021. Dangote credited the management’s practical approach, which was focused on improving efficiencies across all areas of operations and service delivery to customers, for the company’s outstanding performance.
He promised that, with the assistance of, the management will continue to carry out planned initiatives to maintain the performance.
