Com Segun Esan, the Secretary-General of the Nigerian Union of Railway Workers, highlighted the optimism of railroad workers regarding the beginning of the Federal Government’s 95% pay rise.
Esan reported that the union was now undergoing the due diligence procedure and was making every effort to ensure that the 95% pay increment was deposited into the bank accounts of the railway workers.
The union chief further said that even if the salary increase’s implementation was postponed until another administration came into power, the government would continue to ensure that everything necessary was done to ensure that the increase was implemented.
