International Breweries Plc has started using gas-powered vehicles to transport its products around the nation as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability.
This comes after the business on Tuesday at its Gateway Factory in Ogun State showcased its maiden shipment delivery of 540 gas-powered vehicles.
A total of 540 modern gas-powered vehicles will be delivered to the firm over the course of three years, with 180 trucks coming each year.
In accordance with Sustainable Goal 13 of the UN, this effort aims to lower carbon monoxide (CO2) emissions on Nigerian roadways, a prevalent practice that deteriorates public health. This will aid Nigeria’s efforts to combat climate change and help us lower our carbon footprint.
