Leading oil marketers said that NNPCL depots, which supply private depots across the nation, ran out of supplies over the weekend as a result of oil marketers snatching up the available supplies.

Also, during the weekend, NNPCL depots ran out of supplies. Nevertheless, we anticipate that items will be accessible this week, so we can resume loading, one of the marketers said.

Last week, it was reported that petrol lines at filling stations around the nation were getting shorter.
On the other side, members of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria sold goods for between N200 and N250 a litre.

The National Controller Operations, IPMAN, Mike Osatuyi ,however, stated that IPMAN members will begin loading items at N172 per litre as of this week.

He emphasized that many of the depot owners had yet to comply with FG’s directive to sell at N172 per litre to retailers. Osatuyi however said NNPCL should be commended for its more responsive approach to resolving fuel scarcity.
