Utilization Of Drones Is Taught To Urban Planners In Lagos

The Lagos State Government began a two-week training program for 50 town planners on how to use drones to effectively monitor encroachment on private property and other nefarious activities.

Abimbola Umeh, a spokeswoman for the state’s Physical Planning Permit Authority, said this in a statement.

According to her, the organization planned the training in accordance with the government’s position on the use and acceptance of contemporary technology in governance and development challenges.

She continued by saying that the training will improve the staff’s ability to efficiently oversee and enforce site inspections and instill manners in interactions with the general public.

According to her citation, Mr. Kehinde Osinaike, the agency’s general manager, the utilization and deployment of drones will allow efficient municipal town planning activities.
