The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has signed five memorandums of understanding regarding the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline Project with the national oil firms and pertinent entities of five African nations.
The five national oil companies and relevant organizations came from the following countries: Sierra Leone, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
Kyari said it was reassuring to see the project advance steadily, particularly with the inclusion of the NNPC’s counterparts and important institutions from other African nations through execution of the pertinent Memoranda of Understanding.
He recalled that NNPC and ONHYM signed a Memorandum of Understanding on September 15, 2022 with the ECOWAS Commission in Morocco, adding that this event was coming a month after the NNPC signed additional MoUs with Petrosen of Senegal and SMH of Mauritania.
