According to the Federal Government, Nigeria and Canada must collaborate closely to accomplish a number of shared objectives, including enhancing ongoing educational cooperation and boosting commerce.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo revealed this in a speech while on a state visit to Canada. This comes after the FG earlier this year authorized a bilateral aviation service agreement between Nigeria and Canada.
Vice President of Nigeria Yemi Osinbajo left Abuja for Ottawa. This was the first high-level visit by a Nigerian since former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s trip to Canada in 2000.
A bilateral aviation service agreement between Canada and Nigeria was ratified earlier this year by the Federal Executive Council.
