Amos Nzeyi, executive chairman of Crown Beverages Limited (CBL), has urged the government to lower taxes on manufacturing in order to lower production costs and enable the sector’s expansion in the nation.
Mr. Nzeyi made the comments at the Aquafina enhanced drinking water brand launch at the brand-new Crown Beverages Limited facility in Kakungulu, Sisa-Wakiso district, which cost $76 million (Shs 284 billion).
Mr. Nzeyi claimed that the country’s industrial industry hasn’t been able to expand because of the high taxes.
