Federal Ministry of Finance’s Phil Abiamuwe-Mowete, Director for Information and Press, described Project Lighthouse as a “data driven artificial intelligence engine that provides the ministry with intelligence and profiling platform to aid in policy formulation, implementation, and the assessment of those policies’ impacts.”
By guaranteeing that significant revenue gaps are closed and revenue collection is significantly enhanced, Project Light-House will assist MDAs in building a more effective revenue assessment process.
Victor Omata, Director of Special Projects at the Ministry of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, said in his opening remarks that one of the main goals of the current administration’s economic strategy, as outlined in the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan, was to improve Federal Government revenues by focusing on and raising non-oil revenues.
