According to the Russian Defence Ministry, Moscow has spoken with London and Washington; the discussion was about the concern that Kiev could use a “dirty bomb.”
After having a similar talk with his British counterpart, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, the Russian chief of defense, voiced his nation’s concerns to U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley.
The Russian Ministry of Defense requested the phone call between Radakin and Gerasimov, according to the British Defense Ministry, and the UK “rejected Russia’s assertions that Ukraine is plotting acts to exacerbate the conflict,” it added.
The developments happened a day after Sergey Shoigu, the Russian Defense Minister, voiced similar worries. Moscow has long warned Western countries about Kiev’s purported intentions to blame Russia with a “dirty bomb.”
