137 Nigerians Stranded in Libya are Received by NEMA.

Since January, about 3,000 Nigerians have been evacuated from Libya, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Another group of 137 Nigerians who were trapped in Libya have been brought to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

The migrants, according to NEMA, boarded an Al Buraq Air Boeing 737-800; and arrived at Ikeja’s Murtala Muhammad International Airport’s Cargo Wing.

NEMA said that there were 80 men, 52 women, and three newborns among the returns. On behalf of the Federal Government, Mr. Mustapha Ahmed, Director-General of NEMA, welcomed the returnees; and urged them to take lessons from their experiences and uphold the law.
