Russian Military Confirms Major Prisoner Exchange With Ukraine.

As part of a significant prisoner exchange with Kiev, a total of 110 Russians have returned home from Ukraine; this is according to the Russian Defence Ministry.

72 civilian sailors who had been in Ukraine since February 2022 were among the group, it was added. Moscow released 108 female soldiers to Ukraine in return.

According to the government, two of the women selected for the exchange declined the invitation; they stated that they would like to remain in Russia.

Since the beginning of the confrontation between the two countries in late February, Moscow and Kiev have frequently exchanged prisoners.
