According to President Muhammadu Buhari, the establishment of a national airline for Nigeria is 91% complete; and is to start operating before the end of this year.
At the third Ministerial Performance Review Retreat held in Abuja, the president provided the assurance.
The government’s ownership stake in Nigeria Air is N14.6 billion, or 5%.
Mr. Buhari added that his administration has made investments in leather guns, other essential military equipment, and ongoing training for the armed services.
In order to boost the size of our police force, 20,000 policemen were hired, trained, fully integrated, and deployed in 2020 and 2021, he said.
