According to announcement from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), the 650,000 barrels per day Dangote refinery in Lagos is now 97% complete; and Scarcity ends as 146 gasoline trucks arrive in the area around Abuja.

When completed, the integrated refinery and petrochemical complex in the Lekki Free Zone outside of Lagos, Nigeria, will be the largest single-train facility in the world.

The refinery, which costs around $20 billion, will produce polypropylene, jet fuel, gasoline and diesel of Euro-V standard. It is also expected to create 4,000 direct jobs and 145,000 indirect jobs.

According to the NMDPRA, it will be both the largest single-train facility and oil refinery in all of Africa. Additionally, there are signs that the petrol shortage that has rocked.
