The fifth-generation, or 5G, technology is already accessible in Nigeria. The technology was commercially introduced in Nigeria by MTN Nigeria Communications Plc.
With this commercial debut, 5G services are now available in several locations across Nigeria. The company disclosed in its report; that it has set up 127 5G sites in advance of the launch of 5G. Phased deployment of 5G is anticipated, with complete countrywide coverage anticipated by 2025.
