United Airlines Acquires 200 Air Taxis And Spends $15million In Eve Air.

United Airlines Holdings Inc (UAL.O), a U.S. Airline, announced on that it would invest $15 million in the fledgling air-taxi company Eve Air Mobility and place an order for 200 aircraft.

A 200-unit option is included in the conditional agreement for Eve’s four-seater electric vertical take-off; and landing vehicle (eVTOL). The conditions were not made clear by United.

According to United, the first Eve aircraft, which has a range of 60 miles; might be delivered as early as 2026.

According to United Airlines, Eve’s partnership with aircraft manufacturer Embraer; which enables access to components and services, is one of the reasons the company is investing in it.
