Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria says it has withdrawn its membership from the Council of Maritime Transport Unions and Associations following a breach of agreements by some members.
In a letter dated March 10, 2022, the trade union accused the National Union of Road Transport Workers and “some members” of constantly breaching the provisions of the memorandum of understanding entered into by members.
It also accused NURTW of peddling falsehoods against members of MWUN and other stakeholders.
