VFD Group Plc, a proprietary investment company, has said it will pay its shareholders N10.79 per share with a bonus of one for every two shares owned for the year 2021.
The Group Managing Director/ Chief Executive officer, VFD Group, Nonso Okpala, disclosed this while presenting its financial result for the year ended December 31, 2021, during its annual general meeting in Lagos on Tuesday.
He said, “Based on the results, VFD Group Plc has proposed a final dividend of N10.78 per share with an additional bonus share for every two shares held by its shareholders.
The major highlights of the results presented showed that gross earnings for the Group grew by 50 percent to N9.95bn, from N6.65bn in 2020. Interest income grew by 99 percent to N7.33bn, from N3.69bn in 2020; trading and other non-interest income grew by 156 percent to N10.26bn, from N4.01bn in 2020.
