The Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission debunked the report that the Lekki Deep Sea Port is 90.93% completed.
It said the project is 80 per cent completed as against the 90.93 per cent given by some report.
This was contained in statement by the commission’s Acting. Head, Media & Publicity, Manji Yarling.
Breakdown of the completion status was outlined as, “dredging and reclamation is at 90.93%, quay walls at 87.3%, breakwater at 82.74 per cent; and landside infrastructure at 70 per cent, bringing to a total of 81.14 per cent.”
According to the ICRC, the port should be ready in September and operational in December.
